I hate lucy. He is the demon after all. His doom is nasty, although on a bright side, anyone with linkin sphere (with some chance of lucy using doom, only to be blocked by linkin ) should make lucifer T_T.
Theoritically speaking , the perma bashers win 1v1. This mean troll and void. (on side note, i think a troll with full item, although being doomed, can still deal some crazy damage). But, like those noobs that shouted " come 1v1 me " in dota, you should come to realize that dota is a 5 ppl game. Troll can kill people 1v1, but if there's a lion on the enemy side, u might get disabled to death without having any chance to attack.
Although, some heroes can counter some 5v5 hero lineup. For example, if the enemy choose to do the pusher lineup (brood + lycan + illusion hero ). One earthshaker or tiny should make their lineup good as dead.
Another example, if u see lots of intel hero in enemy side, pick hero like pugna (nether ward zap yo), bloodseeker (intel hero that cannot cast spell is good as dead, or antimage
If u see 2-3 invi heros, pick slardar and bounty.
If u see 5 aoe spellcaster. Pick silencer. last word will disrupt their combo...A LOT
If u see 5 carry. Get urself a big laugh and choose lion or zeus to nuke them like death.
If u see 5 ganking heroes, get urself maphack ( screw it ) , nope, get wards to avoid gank, or nerubian ( bettle as ward) , rootfallen (owl as ward) to avoid ganks
Like I said, dota is 5 hero game. The examples above are just a few.
And that 's the aspect that make dota ....fun (and full of trolls shouting 1v1)
