Don't use double antiviruses..
they will conflict each other.. and sometimes crash your computer... =)

better use one antivirus, and focus on upgrading that one ;)

AVAST is one of the best free antiviruses, but if you want all a security solution can do I would recommend you Kaspersky. You also could take a look here http://best-antivirus.co to find out many useful things and see many detailed comparisons between the best 10 antiviruses in the world.
It's a free reviews and downloads site.

Well I'm using NOD32 at home and AVIRA at work, both work fine! using a free OS like Linux too is a good idea, you don't really care about virus or anything (it may be out of topic but my PC is under Ubuntu and Warcraft runs great on it =). anyway, AVIRA is a good antivirus.
