Looks like alief and I are the only ones who use AVG Free 9. I have to take his side to be honest =x. It really is easy to use, light, and free. I just love it. Windows Defender works well with it also.

It depends. Some antivirus can detect some virus that can't be detected by other antivirus. Ex.: when u scanned a folder, u find a virus with the antivirus A..but not with the antivirus B. But when u scanned the other folder, u find a virus with the antivirus B..but antivirus A didn't find it.
So, it depends on your situation. The best antivirus is the updated antivirus. Even a best antivirus but if it don't get updated, it will be the worse..
Because u know.. New viruses come out everytime, so u need to get updated.

Actually no, you also have to go with your gut sometimes on which is best (or reviews). Often times one anti-virus program will conflict with the other, thinking the other anti-virus program is a virus when it's not. So no, having two anti-virus programs at the same time isn't a good idea.
